Jordan baptized a new member of the Church on Saturday. Her name is Sally and she is great. She bought this dress just for her baptism. There were lots of members as well as nonmembers in attendance so she felt a lot of support. This was a considerably better week for Jordan and his companion, since last week they returned from grocery shopping to find two inches of water all over their flat. They discovered their washing machine had gone psycho. In the commotion, they left their bacon on the counter over night and it spoiled. They had bought all the ingredients to make breakfast for an investigator to persuade her to come to church. They took some other meat out of the freezer and made it look like bacon or sausage or something. Well, he said it wasn't too bad and the lady was so shocked they had made her breakfast that she did in fact come to church!
Jordan is working hard and doing an awesome job. We love hearing from him each week. We also had a very nice e-mail from his mission president who gave him a glowing report and felt he had prepared well to be a missionary.
This is a picture of Jordan's back view of the flat.

What a sweet story and wonderful missionary he is.
I had no doubt that Jordan would be an great missionary. I know
all of you are so proud of his progress.
I enjoy all the letters your mom forwards to me about Jordan.
NZ looks like a neat place.
Love, Aunt Karen
